How much do your invitations cost?
The price of our wedding stationery depends on what design you choose, what exactly you require (e.g. do you only need invitations or would you like invitations, envelopes, rsvp cards, place cards and menus?) and how many of each you need. When you make an enquiry we can provide you with an obligation free quote.
Can I order samples of some different designs to see which one I like best?
Yes, absolutely. For a small cost (price depending on the style you choose, see picture for details) we will make you as many samples as you like, with all of your details and information included, for you to consider. Each sample includes an invitation, a RSVP card and a place card. Just contact us to arrange this.
How should I word my invitation?
The wording of your wedding invitation is completely up to you. At Invitation Only we have many examples for you to choose from, to suit all styles of weddings. You may choose to use one of these, or you may compose your own wording – there are no rules.
Do you print individual guest names on invitations?
Yes. At Invitation Only we print all your guests names individually on all of your wedding stationery. This is included in the price.
Can I have my stationery without individual guest names printed on them?
Yes. How you choose to word your invitations is completely up to you. We can help you decide on what will work best for you.
How do I know if my wording will fit on the invitation?
All of our wedding invitations are individually designed to ensure that your supplied wording will fit correctly. Before any final decisions are made regarding your wedding stationery you will be provided with wording and setting-out samples to proof. This will ensure that you are satisfied with the set out of your stationery.
Can I include a poem or phrase on my invitation?
Yes. The wording that you use is entirely up to you. We can provide you with ideas if required.
Can I change the colour or shape of an invitation?
Absolutely. At Invitation Only we will change any of our designs to meet your needs and best suit your theme. We will work with you to ensure that you get the exact wedding stationery you desire. If none of our designs are what you are looking for then we will work with you to create something new and unique.
Are envelopes included in your prices?
That is up to you. When you receive a quote from Invitation Only we will quote you on your required stationery with and without the inclusion of envelopes. At Invitation Only there are no restrictions on what you order – it is entirely up to you.
Can I view my stationery to approve it?
Yes. At Invitation Only we will provide you with samples of your wedding stationery for you to approve before we begin printing. Final responsibility for approving all stationery rests with the client.
How should I supply wording information and guest names?
This information can be supplied in person, by email or mail. You should ensure that you provide all information exactly as you would like them to be spelt and printed on all of your wedding stationery.
How do I pay for my stationery?
You can pay for your stationery in person, by direct deposit into our bank account or via the post with a cheque or money order. A time-frame for payment will be discussed with you when you have made your final decision regarding your wedding stationery.
How far in advance do I need to order my wedding invitations?
The traditional time to send out your invitations is approximately 8 to 10 weeks before your wedding day. If you are having guests from overseas or interstate you may wish to send them out earlier. You should confirm your order with us no later than 6-8 weeks before you wish to send your invitations out. However, if you are running late and do not have this much time we may be able to prepare something for you on shorter notice. For more accurate information please contact us.
Can I order stationery from Invitation Only if I don’t live in Tasmania?
Yes. We are more than happy to cater for interstate orders. Please contact us for more details.
I am having a gift registry. How do I let my guests know?
Many couples are now using gift registries. It is most acceptable to include this information with your invitation to inform your guests of your wishes.
What if we want our guests to pay for their meal instead of giving us a gift?
It is becoming more common for couples to ask for their guests to pay for the cost of their meal in lieu of gifts. If this is what you are doing then you should provide this information with your invitation. It is best to ask for payment to be included with guests’ acceptance.
Do I have to make an appointment to meet in person?
No, you do not need to make an appointment to meet in person, however if it is possible we do prefer to meet with you to discuss your stationery needs. Just contact us to arrange a meeting.
